About Playing MP3 Songs...
The sound clips available on this site are in MP3 format, the new standard for listening to and downloading music from the internet. MP3 offers great sound quality at very small file sizes.

MP3 files can be played on many "player" applications. The most popular such players are Quicktime, Real Audio, Windows Media Player and Liquid Audio..

PLAY NOW OR PLAY LATER?

If you click on a song...It may play automatically in your browser, or not. The reality is that in order to play music within your browser, two conditions must be in place: First, you must have an MP3-compatible player on your computer, and 2) you must have the corresponding "plugins" placed in your browser's "Plugins" folder. This information can be found (if you're lucky) in your specific browser support files.

If you have difficulty getting songs to play in your browser (and you're not alone!), you should first download the files to your hard drive. Then you can simply click on them to play directly in your player.

That being said, different computers and browsers handle downloading differently.

Here are a few tips for downloading MP3 files:

PC/Windows Users: Right-Click and select "Download Link to Disk" or "Save Target As"

Mac Users: Click and hold, select "Download Link to Disk" or "Save Target As"

Remember, your browser version and player application must be fairly new to play MP3 music files. As a convenience, here are direct links to the most popular "MP3" players:

Quicktime

Real Audio

Windows Media Player

Liquid Audio
